Initiated at the beginning of this century in the violent streets of Trinidad & Tobago, the Combat Readiness System has found its way via the South America continent to Europe. The System differs from other systems by the reality based curriculum with the no-nonsense approach of "not fighting is better than winning the fight".

Situational Awareness is one of the Key Elements of the training. Another Key Element is KRAV MAGA.  Sometimes Situational Awareness and Avoidance are simply not sufficient and one should be able to defend against an attack from any side.  KRAV MAGA offers the best solutions against physical threats.

In the streets there are no rules.  Once in a physical conflict you are on your own. Therefore we train hard, although you may never need to apply your skills in a real fight. That´s even better and you will be rewarded by staying in good health.

ABOUT CRS

Major Boodram's background is that of an officer in the Special Forces of Trinidad & Tobago. He completed his military education and training in the UK and the US. Once back in Trinidad, as a commando he provided support to the police for many years in the fight against serious crime and terrorism. He eventually became Chief of National Security for Trinidad & Tobago.
At the beginning of this century he transformed his karate school into a Combat Readiness institute. He himself received his Krav Maga training in Israel, among others from Eyal Yanilov, the founder of Krav Maga Global (KMG). Major Boodram is Expert 1 in Krav Maga. He has been director for the Caribbean region of KMG for many years. Major Boodram also has a number of publications about personal safety to his name.

From Trinidad & Tobago the system expanded to Guyana, Suriname and the Dutch Antilles. From there the next step became Europe, more specifically The Netherlands. Experienced and certified trainers are ready to introduce the system to anyone who has an interest in improving his/hers personal safety. The instructors of CRS are your Personal Safety Advisors. They evaluate your personal safety situation and advise accordingly. The next step is implementing tools, skills and endurance.
